People often ask me why it is that I decided to shift my focus of photography to Boudoir. And the answer is simple- I just want you to know that you are sexy. And sexy as fuck. As a woman, I myself sometimes forget just how amazing I am. I get lost in motherhood, PTA obligations, stay at home mom problems (you know, the three day old dirty hair, pulled up in a bun, used a baby wipe to clean your face last, and husband seeing you too often in last nights bed time clothes), and just every day crap that we women feel too often on our shoulders. You look back at the "girl" you once were during those crazy nights out with friends where you were allowed to spend a ridiculous amount of time on yourself, your outfit, your makeup, and STRUT into the room like the queen you are- owning every moment, and wonder where she went.
It happens. You get in routine and next thing you know you are questioning your inner goddess and if you really were that sexy in the past or making it all up in your head. Well ladies- YOU ARE THAT FUCKING SEXY. And I am here to help you remember that.
What is The STRUT Experience difference?
When you book your boudoir experience with STRUT|Boudoir, you will be given an opportunity to shed some inhibitions and tell an intimate story that only the woman herself knows the true narrative of. The photographs captured will be intimate, timeless, and a reminder of just how truly beautiful you are. Every session can be booked in the comfort of your home or in our private studio that comes fully dressed for the occasion. At STRUT|Boudoir, you will also be met with a beauty team for professional hair and makeup application, wardrobe consultation, and even the option to "shop" our client closet for unique pieces to wear during your session.
But what about posing? I don't look like those women and still need to lose a few pounds. Girl- I GOT YOU. When my photography career started over 10 years ago, my time was spent not only learning studio and natural light- but working with published models of all shapes and sizes who basically did my job for me. I am very knowledgeable in the art of posing and will coach and hype you up the entire time. Just get a good stretch in before our session and be prepared for a little soreness the next day. Your body CAN look like that too. Like I tell everybody (and myself before a hot selfie session to my husband), it's all about the angles. And if you're still a little unsure- just know all of your images come professionally edited to the level that makes you the most confident.
